Mind the GAP - Young Person's Groups

Young Person’s  – Arts for Wellbeing sessions are aimed at people between 14-18 and 16-30 with long-term physical and mental health conditions in Glossop and the surrounding area. Watch this space for our 14-18 provision, with funding from Children in Need.

Currently the Arts for Wellbeing 16-30 is  offered once a week and is a great opportunity to meet new people, try new activities and learn new skills. Our groups are sociable and very relaxed and there is no commitment to attend every week, although we have found that most people return again and again!

Each term, GAP enjoys a new creative ‘theme’, with different activities being offered each week. Clare, our resident artist, will guide you through a number of activities including painting, drawing, collage, up-cycling of unwanted objects, sculpture, textiles, and much, much more.

Arts for Wellbeing sessions are free of charge, a voluntary contribution towards refreshments is welcome but not essential.  There is no requirement to book your place – just come along! But, if you would like more information, please feel free to contact GAP.
