Glossop Arts Project

Volume 2 / Issue 3    Our news!

Our Suffragette project was a “Triumph” We had an amazing turn out for the parade and the celebration event in the Labour Club was fantastic. The banner, which was made up of many smaller panels made by various groups and projects in Glossop, was on display for a week and will also be displayed by the Embroiders Guild – we are also working on an exhibition near Christmas with a fundraising event… (Watch this space!)

Our Arts for Wellbeing, Hands on Art group and CREATIONS participated in the project. The League of Ladies WI choir sang for us and lots of people donated cakes for afternoon Tea. Thank you to everyone!

We started our Hadfield Arts for Wellbeing in May – this is working well, there is room for a few more! Although those that come really enjoy it saying…

I’m really enjoying the classes. It’s a real step forward for me… I have been unable to be consistent with other things I have tried but your classes seem so suitable. Thankyou xx”
